Organic Seed Companies say NO to the planned deregulation of New Genetic Engineering

As yet, 99% of crop production in the EU is GMO-free. However, if the EU Commission's current proposal is adopted, this could soon change. New genetic engineering methods would then be allowed to be used without risk assessment and sold without labelling of the products.
