Apple-of-Peru

Annual, fast-growing, profusely flowering ornamental plant, also called poison berry, (growth height up to 1.5m) with delicate violet flowers that ripen into black lampion-like seed capsules. Good mixed cultivation partner for tomatoes and chillies, as it inhibits the spread of insect pests (e.g. white fly). Blossoming period: July to October
