The Waldviertel Sun...
...is one of our most important ReinSaat team members, working reliably on our fields and in our greenhouses. With its life-giving power, it nurtures our plants and animals, ensures seeds germinate, plants grow, and their fruits ripen. High time then, to expand its area of responsibility at ReinSaat.
With the completion of our second large hall, all indoor processes of seed processing – from cleaning to packaging – as well as research in the breeding lab are now “under one roof,” or since 2023, under two roofs. And these two impressive rooftops, totalling 2230 m², are set to host photovoltaic systems. With the sun’s energy and the support of our customers, we aim to bring the ReinSaat solar power plant to life.

Here, a state-of-the-art workplace is being created for one of our most important team members – the Waldviertel Sun. We warmly invite you, dear ReinSaat friends, customers, and companions, to actively support the realisation of our solar power plant by purchasing ReinSaat-EnergyVouchers.
The concept is as simple as it is sustainable!
You purchase a voucher for EUR 220,– and over a period of 10 years, ReinSaat will return EUR 330,– to you in the form of shopping vouchers (redeemable in the ReinSaat online shop or on-site at our location in St. Leonhard). You will receive the first of a total of 11 vouchers, each worth EUR 30,–, immediately upon contract conclusion (bank transfer). The remaining 10 will be sent to you annually in November – either by email or by post.
ReinSaat-EnergyVouchers are valid for 10 years and can also be saved, passed on, or gifted to family, friends, or your local farmer or gardener who supplies your weekly vegetable box.
