An Italian delicacy! This new selection of Puntarelle "Medusa" was bred by the chicory experts Smarties in Chioggia, Veneto. In our chicory trial, the variety performed excellently, forming beautiful compact cones, fleshy shoots and proved to be "precocissima", i.e. very early. Sowing at the beginning of July, planting at the beginning of August, ready to be harvested in approx. 70 days.
