    Pre-cultivation:

    summer leek - from mid-January for planting in March;

    autumn leek – from February to March for planting from May till June;

    winter leek  -   from April till beginning of May

                          for planting from beginning of July to mid-August

    Germination temperature: 16 – 18° C

    Distances: 30-50 x 15-20 cm

    Required quantity of seeds: planting: 10-15 g/acre; direct sowing: 50 g/acre

    Sowing depth: 1-2 cm
