Papaver orientale
Oriental poppy delights with its cup-shaped, hand-sized, single flowers in soft salmon to antique pink shades, featuring a strikingly dark centre. From May to June, it adds impressive highlights to any garden. This herbaceous to bushy-growing, winter-hardy perennial reaches a height of up to 100 cm. After flowering, it dies back in summer and surprises again the following spring with its magnificent appearance.
