Siberian Kale (cut or sheared cabbage) is an ancient crop with strongly serrated, curled leaves and striking purple stems. Its ornamental appearance is matched by a fine, nutty flavour. Its leaves and stalks can be used in different ways, harvested as baby leaves for salads or as a cooked vegetable at various stages of development.
