Biannual plant of about 70 cm height. White to pale purple blossoms. Sow from May. Planting in August / September. Till autumn these plants form strong rosettes of leaves, which need some protection (for eg. cover with branches) against strong frosts. Blossoming period from June/ July in the 2nd year. Can be cultivated as an ornamental or durable cut flower. Light germinator.
