This low-growing leafy vegetable, originally from China, reaches a height of 15–20 cm and captivates with its attractive rosette of leaves, which appear almost golden in cooler weather. The variety is extremely cold-tolerant and ideally suited for off-season cultivation. Its tender leaves make a particularly tasty addition to winter cuisine, whether cooked or raw in salads.
