Korean Perilla

This annual Perilla (Shiso) is a Korean speciality with bicoloured leaves and vigorous, healthy growth (approx. 150 cm). The slightly bitter leaves have a unique flavour, reminiscent of mint, basil, and anise. Popular as a garnish for sushi and sashimi. Due to its wide range of health benefits, it is considered an important medicinal plant in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Light germinator – cover only lightly with soil.
