Deep blue-purple inflorescences of this old, English lavender variety reach a length of up to 20 cm, are extremely colorful and exude their wonderful scent from June to August. Perennial bee pasture. Its compact, dense, low growth (40 - 50cm) is particularly effective in flower beds and hedges. Hidcote Blue prefers fully sunny locations with water-permeable, calcareous, poor soils.
